I wanted to follow up with another way we can ACT in helping save children who are in the sex trade. In my previous posts, I spoke of Children's Hope Chest often and right now they have a team in India who have seen first hand children caught in sex trafficking (for more of their stories go to HopeChest India Blog). In the midst of this evil, they have come across a wonderful opportunity to bring education to 12 girls who were born in the brothels. They say this is one way they can break the cycle and give these girls a hope of a future.
The school for the girls starts THURSDAY (as in this Thursday)! And if they do not have their tuition by then they will have to wait until next year to enroll. So PLEASE consider and pray about giving NOW!
The cost is $407 for the year, which is $1.12 a day (this provides tuition, uniforms, supplies, everything for the whole year). The total they need for the 12 girls is $4884. Please pray and consider giving, even if it is $5. Every penny counts! Go to HERE to give. Put "india school" in the notes section, so it goes where it needs to.
